111 Pegasus Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron
111 Pegasus Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron is a youth organization open to youth aged 12 to 18.
We offer opportunities to the youth of Canada that would not otherwise be possible in the civilian world. As an Air Cadet, you are given the opportunity to become a fully licensed glider and power pilot. Though the air element is a major factor in our programme, it is not the sole area that we focus on. Joining the cadet programme will offer you experiences in leadership, instruction, professionalism, time management, survival skills, and self-discipline.
At 111, we offer a multitude of different extra-curricular teams and activities. This includes a military band, precision drill team, first aid team, toastmaster effective speaking, Duke of Edinburgh, and many more. 111 prides itself on being the best and this is reflected in our teams being consistently awarded 1st place in regional and provincial competitions.
In addition to personal gains, you may receive high school credits that can be used to fulfill your high school requirement for graduation. A unique opportunity at 111 Pegasus is that we offer annual scholarships to our cadets seeking post-secondary education. Two scholarships are awarded to our top senior cadets entering their first year in post-secondary.
