Air Rifle Marksmanship Instructor Course (ARMI)
The Air Rifle Marksmanship Instructor Course provides cadets an opportunity to further personal marksmanship knowledge and skills, and develop as a specialist with the skills and subject matter knowledge to perform the duties of an Air Rifle Marksmanship Instructor. Activities include marksmanship techniques, instructional techniques, and coaching. Cadets attending this course will also have an opportunity to progress in their marksmanship level qualification. Drill and Ceremonial Instructor Course (DCI)
The Drill and Ceremonial Instructor Course provides cadets an opportunity to develop as a specialist with the skills and subject matter knowledge to perform the duties of a Drill and Ceremonial Instructor. Activities include advanced drill, instructional techniques and leadership in the conducting of parades and ceremonies. Military Band Musician (MB)
The Cadet Musician - Military Band course provides cadets an opportunity to develop music skills ranging from basic to advanced to support participation in and / or leading corps/squadron military bands. Activities include music training and band activities such as music theory, music technique, band drill, leadership and performing ensemble music. Cadets attending this course will also have the opportunity to progress in their music proficiency level qualifications. Advanced Aviation Course (AA)
The Advanced Aviation Course provides cadets an opportunity to develop as a specialist with the skills and subject matter knowledge required to be an instructor and team leader for aviation activities. Activities include instructional techniques, aviation communication and meteorology. Fitness and Sports Instructor Course (FSI)
The Fitness and Sports Instructor Course provides cadets an opportunity to further personal fitness and healthy living knowledge and skills, and develop as a specialist with the skills and subject matter knowledge to perform the duties of a Fitness and Sports Instructor. Activities include personal fitness, healthy living, conducting the Cadet Fitness Assessment, and leading physical activities. Cadets attending this course will also have an opportunity to progress in their Cadet Fitness Assessment Incentive Level. Survival Instructor Course (SI)
The Survival Instructor Course provides cadets an opportunity to develop as a specialist with the skills and subject matter knowledge required to perform the duties of a Survival Instructor and team leader for aircrew survival activities. Activities include aircrew survival skills, team and solo survival exercises, aircrew survival exercise operations, instructional technique, and navigation by map and compass. Glider Pilot Training Course
This course provides cadets an opportunity to become a glider pilot and participate in various ground and aviation training, resulting in qualification and certification as a glider pilot. Cadet Administration and Supply Assistant Course (CASA)
The Cadet Administration and Supply Assistant Course provides cadets an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of administration and supply procedures, and the subject matter knowledge to perform the duties of a Cadet Administration and Supply Assistant. Activities include managing clothing and equipment, corps/squadron administration, and written communications. Dates: 17-28 Jul 2023 | 31 Jul - 11 Aug 2023 Format: Virtual |
National Cadet Advisory Council (NCAC)
This Cadet Advisory Council brings senior cadets together from across the country to discuss and engage with organizational leadership to discuss the cadet program on an annual basis. Power Pilot Training Course
This course provides cadets an opportunity to become a single engine power pilot and participate in various ground and aviation training, resulting in qualification and certification as a power pilot. International Air Cadet Exchange
Cadets will participate in citizenship activities as well as other air related training opportunities. Locations: United Kingdom, United States Dates: 13 - 27 Jul 2023 Civil Air Patrol Cadet Officer School (United States) Cadets will participate in activities established by the USA Civil Air Patrol Cadet Officer School Program as well as other aviation related training opportunities.
