111 Offers a variety of extracurricular activities that enrich your cadet's experience. Participation in these activities is encouraged but may require a try-out or audition session as team positions are limited.
First AidOIC: 2Lt Christopher Lee
NCOIC: FSgt Priscilla Lui Coaches: Ms. Serena Chung, WO2 Emily Li The First Aid Team meets every Sunday evening at Bessborough Armoury. Under the instruction of Senior NCOs and guest instructors from St. John Ambulance, participants learn practical life-saving skills. Participants are not required to compete, but for those who do, they practice "scenarios" that prepare them for the annual First Aid Competition held in the Spring. There are two competing teams: the Junior Team which consists of cadets below the age of 16, and the Senior Team, which practices more advanced first aid. Teams consist of three team members and a Captain and with spares. Registration and tryouts will occur for the 2013-2014 training year in September. |

Drill Team Commander: WO1 Trevor Tsang The Drill Team meets every Tuesday evening at Lord Tennyson Elementary just across from the Armoury. The team of 15 practice to perfect their team drill for the yearly Drill Competition held in Spring. Drill Team members not only focus on drill, but also work on their uniform and words of command. 111's Drill Team has had a proud history of being provincial champions for two consecutive years. This year's Drill Competition is hosted by 135 Bell-Irving at Bessborough Armoury The Drill Team will be hosting try-outs again in September for the next training year. |

Eagle Flight, the largest flight in the squadron, rehearses on Thursday nights at Lord Tennyson Elementary. Under the direction of Capt David Fong, the ensemble of over 35 cadets practices for Monday night Parades as well as the Band Competition held every Spring.
Cadets with a passion for music are encouraged to join the Band. No experience is required, however, it will be a great advantage.
The Band will be accepting new members in the new training year.
