Senior NCO Field Training Exercise (FTX)

Exercise: Level 3+ Cadets will be participating in a Field Exercise. Attending at least one Field Training Exercise (FTX) per training year is mandatory for successful completion of a cadet's proficiency level. The training and activities on a FTX cannot be conducted on a regular Monday night training. Cadets will be expected to bring clothing for inclement weather, and sleeping supplies. Full kit list is provided below and a kit check will be done before departure to ensure items are present.

Drop off: Bessborough Armory 1715h on Friday, 03 Mar 23
Pick up: Bessborough Armory 1600h on Sunday, 05 Mar 23.

The following items SHALL NOT be brought on the exercise:
  • Non-prescription drugs
  • Alcohol and cigarettes/tobacco products
  • Guns or other firearms (including toys)
  • Sheath knives
  • Fireworks and other pyrotechnics
  • Cellular phones
  • Hatchet/axes

If cadets are found to be in possession of mentioned items above, it will be confiscated. Cadets found using these items, may face disciplinary action.
