Fall Tag Days
Parents & Volunteers, On October 21, 22 and 23rd, 111 Pegasus will be organizing our first major fundraising event of the training year. Known as Tag Days, during these few days, every cadet will be signing up for mandatory shifts (see shift schedule) to help the squadron raise funds to put towards extracurricular activities like familiarization flying, squadron competition teams, survival exercises, field trips, sports activities, and other exciting events. Cadets will be standing in front of assigned public locations in pairs to solicit donations. Please encourage your cadet to discuss this activity with their respective Flight Commanders. As a representative of the Squadron Sponsoring Committee, we would like to invite all parents to help out in this exciting event. We need parents to help us drive and supervise cadets to/at different locations, serve snacks, as well as count money. All Squadron parents can be a Parents Driver. In order to do so please note:
The Sponsoring Committee needs as many volunteers as possible to help our cadets to make Tag Days run as smoothly as possible. We are also soliciting prizes to award our cadets for their fundraising efforts. If you have sports or concert tickets, or cool prizes that you are willing to donate, or can help in any way, please email us at 111aircadets@gmail.com. |
Cadets are expected to arrive 30 mins prior to their respective shifts. Tag day shifts are:
PM: 1:30pm - 6:00pm
Meet at the armoury first and cadets will be dispatched to their respective locations. Each Cadet has to do minimium 2 shifts or more (sign up on google docs per front webpage). Cadets must be in C1 uniform. If they don't have uniform, they should be in white shirt, dark tie, dark pants, black shoes, and warm dark color jacket. Dress warm for the weather condition and wear gloves. Cadets must have meal before coming for shifts; we only provide snack & drink in the squadron after their duties. |
