Battle of Britain Parade

The Battle of Britain Memorial Fund has requested military and cadet support for the Vancouver Civic Ceremony at Air Force Garden of Remembrance, Stanley Park, 8 September 2024.

​The Battle of Britain is important in many ways, including the first major air military campaign entirely fought by air forces, and the first major German defeat and a crucial turning point in the Second World War.

Participants for the civic ceremony will include local City of Vancouver Army units, HMCS Discovery, 19 Wing Comox, Veterans’ organizations, 59, 103, 111, 135, 525, 888 RCACS and local dignitaries.
